Rockford on a very unhealthy list

This isn’t exactly new data, but it’s still distressing, according to a study this summer by 247WallSt.com, Rockford was one of the 30 cities with the most smokers.

Smoking in the United States. According to the story, which was published in June, about 18.2 percent of the U.S. adult population smokes, which is down 40 percent from 50 years ago.

The site reviewed Gallup poll data to come up with the rankings.
If indeed Rockford is to become one of the top 25 places to live by 2025, convincing
a lot more people to stop spending money on cigarettes would help our health,
finances and image.

Here are the smokingest cities in the U.S.
