ROCKFORD – The City of Rockford is trying to highlight businesses and the best of the Stateline to attract tourists.
“Real. Original. Rockford,” that is the slogan the City of Rockford has carried for years.
“People are excited about that, they want that original experience,” said Josh Albrecht. “They want something that’s not cookie cutter. They want something that’s got a little more personality.”
As families begin to plan their summer vacations, Director of Marketing and Public Affairs for Rockford Area Convention and Visitor Bureau (RACVB) Josh Albrecht says the Forest City has plenty to offer.
“You can get that big city quality here for a much more affordable rate,” said Josh Albrecht.
